Agape Outreach Ministries is an organization that will provide discipleship recovery and life skill training for Homeless women. It will assist women, frequently homeless with co-occurring disorders that are on the streets, as they move from dependent, often abusive relationships into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Additionally, it will assist the women in family reunification, which represents the potential for a child being reestablished with their parents. This is particularly important because of the fact most families face separation because of homelessness.

Agape: This Greek word was rarely used in Greek literature prior to the New Testament. When it was used, it denoted showing kindness to strangers, giving hospitality, and being charitable. In the New Testament, the word agape took on a special meaning: It was used by the New Testament writers to designate a volitional love as opposed to the purely emotional kind. It is a self-sacrificial love, a kind naturally expressed by God but not so easily by men and women.
